Herrman Gustave Schoenfeld b. 29 Aug 1860 Neuhof, Posen, Kolmar, PRUSS came to America with his parents Ludwig Johann M. Schoenfeld and Wilhelmina Schedler. They settled in Beaver Dam, WI and Chickasaw Co., IA. As an adult he changed his name to: GEORGE A. FAIRFIELD (sometimes called Gustave Fairfield and aka : G. A. Fairfield). He married about 1890 to HARRIET RUSSEL(L) who was born 1869 in WI. They had sons: Louis (Lewis) R. b. 1901 d. 10 Mar 1986 (SSDI) Bremerton, WA and George H. b. 1 May 1903 d. 29 Mar 1991Bremerton, WA This family is in the 1910, 1920, and 1930 Silverdale, Kitsap, WA federal census. There are two women in the SSDI Mabel E. Fairfield and Martha M. Fairfield that are probably their spouses. Does anyone know which one is married to which son and if either couple had children?
