I'm trying to locate any information on my grandfather. I have not been able to find any records on him. His name was George C. Hennessey. I was told by someone that some families changed their names. He was brought up by an aunt in the united states by the name of Bess Macafee, I'm not sure if that is the correct spelling It seems that he left my grandmother and my mother when my mother was 5, and we have no records on him. I've searched the library records to find some information on him, but nothing ever shows up.
