I am looking for information about my great grandfather, John Marshall. He may have also been know as Marcus John Marshall or Jack Marshall. My great grandmothers name was Mattie. I am not sure of her last name but it may have been Dunford. They lived in Chickasha Oklahoma in 1898 where my grandfather was born. Mattie died about 6 months later. Both John and Mattie may have lived in Texas at some time. My grandfather was adopted out as an infant but he supposedly had an older sister named Mary who stayed with her father after Mattie died.
