My Grandfather James Nathan McCann was a Baptist preacher who apparently came to Mt. Pleasant for a church there. He died 7-11-1901. My father was born 11-10-1900. I would like to confirm his death there and any information that might be in an obituary, on a tombstone, or anything else. I would like to get to know him better, as he had a hard life, was widowed with small children twice before marrying my grandmother, nee Hattie Lee Knowles, whom he widowed. Thank you.
