I am searching for my son who was born 1-17-73 at Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg, FL. His name at birth was Roderick Steven VanDine. He weighed 7 lbs 8 oz. and was born at appx 3:47 PM. My name on the birth certificate was Marjorie Ellen VanDIne,I was born on 2-18-54 and was 18 at the time. The birth father's name was Steven William Thompson. He was 21. Roderick had lots of dark, curly hair. He was placed for adoption through Catholic SOcial Services in St. Pete when he was about 4 days old. I did not wish to place him for adoption but at the time was given no other option. I have been looking for Roderick for a very long time. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am open to personal contact with him or his family if they so desire. I will never be at peace until I know what became of him.
