JONES, Jane C. had a baby boy in Oct. of 1852 in Columbia Co. WI. Named Gayland Alanson was adopted in Oct of 1854 in Madison, WI by Jared and Anna(Halsey)Peck. Looking for the family of Jane C. Jones who lived in Wisconsin in the 1850's. This was my gr grandfather George Washington Peck. I'd like to know his birth mothers family and history. I think her parents names where John and Mary Jones ?
