Dawn Rae Ledet was my birth name. I was born on January 13,1970 in Raceland,LA. The attending physician was R.E.Robichaux. I lived with my birth mother until I was three years old. A friend of my birth mother named Joyce,had custody of me until I was four. She moved me to Alabama where I was eventually adopted by another family. I know that my birth parents were together for five years during which time they had four children. I have an older brother and sister and a younger brother. My birthmother was half French Canadian and half French Indian. Her father was a Navy veteran from WW11. My birthfather was French Indian and from the Houma tribe. He was a sea captain.
