Query Text: |
I am trying to locate any information about John Wilson Smith, 1900 - 1940. He died in Welch West Virginia in a coal mine accident. Evidently it was a single fatility, by the way the obit is written. He is buried in the Hartwell Cemetery. Wife: Edna Sims. Died in Slate fall, May 15, 1940 - New River 331, Welch, West Va. I would like to know if I can get a copy of the mine records of this accident and where I can find the terminology for coal mining. Faye | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
