Trying to fill in gaps. James (Jim) SINGLETON, b:Feb.29, 1864- Mar. 31, 1929 around Henderson or Madison co, TN. M: Sallie MIDDLETON, b: Mar. 1872-1916, d/o William J. Middleton and Sarah UNDERWOOD. James (Jim) Singleton , parents, siblings unknown. Only possible leads is to an 1869 Guardianship in Henderson co of Robert H, James and Mary.Father was Leonard Singleton. Guardian was given to Edmund T. GAWF up until 1874 when a MR. GILBREATH took guardianship. 1880 Henderson co, TN census shows James age 17, living with brother Robert and sister-n-law Mary. Jim and Sallie (Middleton) Singleton's children are: John R. Singleton m: Bettie Bray, Mary E. Singleton m: George W. DAVIDSON, Rosa Singleton m: George BRITT, Sarah Singleton m: Thomas JOHNSON and Will P. Singleton m: Ivie BRAY.Most of these children moved into the Madison co area.
