 Hello ! In March 1842 John Moore married Mary Gaylard in Exeter, Devonshire, and left for the then British Guiana. John worked as a catechist in several Missions and ended up dying in Edinburgh, Scotland, in about 1887, where he was living with his daughter Charlotte Mary (Moore) Jack (husband alan Jack, a Scotsman). I am interested in surnames: MOORE, CAMERON, VAN BATENBURG, JONES and others.
