Searching for my husband's grandfather, James Choice (Choyce?) MARTIN. Said to be born in GA around 1870. Lived his adult years in Dade Co., FL We have his picture on a Post Card standing on the steps of a wooden house dressed in a VERY rumpled suit, a straw hat, and a cigar in his R hand. He married Sarah Grice who was part Choctaw Indian The back of the PC says: "Dad died April 14th, 1930. 60 years old. Buried in Fortin (Fontin?)GA". We cannot find the cemetary name he is buried in. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
