I have begun researching my mother's paternal family tree, Marshall. I have gotten as far as her grandfather. They were located in Northampton County, Virginia. My great grandfathers name was George W. Marshall born in 1870, possibly in Maryland. He had at least one brother William W. Marshall born in 1872. His wife's name was Alice Laferty born in 1880. George and Alice had twelve children. Alfred W. born in 1899 married Anne M. unknown and had four children Lena, Raymond, Elberta, and William. Alleen M. born in 1900. George W. Jr. born in 1901 married to Kate Unknown with two children Malvin and Sinfin. Mable R. born in 1902. Louis born in 1904. Alice A. born in 1906. Hazel M. E. 1908. Nellie R. born in 1910.
