I am looking for descendants of the following: Walter Dagnall <1865>, Annie Dagnall <1868>, and Lizzie Dagnall <1873>. I believe they were siblings of my grandfather George Dagnall, and that all three were British Home Children who arrived at Knowlton, Quebec, from Liverpool, England, in August of 1880. George and Annie are listed in the 1881 census in the household of John E Downs, Sutton, Brome, Quebec. A "Leasy Dagnell" is listed in the household of Petter Kippen of Kenyon, Glengarry, Ontario. To date I have found no mention of Walter beyond his name on the ship's log. Any help would be wonderful!!! I have made some progress--the addition of Frederick Dagnall, another sibling, who also came on the BHC ship and later lived in Tacoma, WA. I have also located Lizzie. She moved to British Columbia and married. Her actual name was Lizelda. Does that sound familiar to anyone? | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
