my ggrandmother Martha Ann STONE, according to one of the old family records was born in Brownsville, TN 1/25/1855. Her father is Wesley STONE who married Ellen HAYES. Martha Ann married Levi Jackson (also seen as J.L.?) PEARSON 12/4/1873, but I don't know where. Levi was born in Tallapoosa Co, AL and AL is where they lived, had 9 children and died. They are buried in Sand Rock, AL. So, question is did Martha Ann (family?) move to AL where she met her future husband, or did he travel to TN, meet her and take her back to AL?? Hopefully, will find some answers one day. I haven't done anything with this line as I seem to have enough "brick walls" on my other primary lines at the moment. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
