Query Text:

I am almost surely descended from Edee brightdaughter of Richard Bright and Ann(?). her son, John b. O'Hagan/hagan married Rhoda godley in chocowinity, beaufort cty, nc about 1808. i am descended from rhoda godley and her husband, later changing their surname from o'hagan/hagan to bright. i would like to know more about the john o'hagan/hagan who fathered Edee's son. assuming he was descended from tyrone cty, northern ireland, when did he or his ancesters first come to the colonies, and to where, if not currituck cty, nc. I am jack bright, born in chicago, il in 1926, living at 478 washington, Elmhurst, IL 60126
