Very much, would like to find information on descendants and ancestors of John Sweigert Imboden, born to Diel & Elizabeth Imboden on Oct 23, 1733 in Henau, Switzerland - He went from Henau to Rotterdam and crossed to the USA on the "Two Brothers" & arrived in Philadelphia, Pa. on Sept 15, 1752. He served as Private in his county militia during the American Revolutionary War & died July 16, 1813 in Pennsylvania as a farmer. I am specifically interested in the name of the father of Samuel Alexander Imboden, born in the USA in 1861. Also looking for information on any siblings of Samuel Alexander Imboden. Samuel Alexander was known as "Alex" to everyone. He farmed, ran a post office & general store, and was an active free mason in the southern portion of the state of Missouri (Lesterville, Center City, Johnson Shut-ins, fork of the Black River). He was married twice in his life: first, to Mary Irwin, and after her death to Cora Mae Sutterfield. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
