I am seeking information on the ancestry of Bridgett Barry of Montipilar VT who married Laughlin Cox in and around 1848-49. Laughlin Cox (born 5-1818) had emigrated from Roscommon Ireland through Canada and over the frozen St Lawrence River to Vermont between 1846-48. They then moved with other Vermont pioneers to LaSalle County in Illinois before the Civil War. I am looking for birth, marriage and death dates and also parents and grandparents.
