My ggrandmother Harriet Clifton b. in Ohio about 1827, parents from PA. Her nickname was "Sarrie Hassy". She married James W. Salisbury from Adams Co., Ohio probably in the mid 1840's. Spelling of surname Salisbury varied in the different census. James W. was a Baptist Minister of God. The family moved to IL in the 1860's then 70's to MO then the 1880's to Lincoln Co., NM.
