CULBERTSON : WILSON | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
Query Text: |
William P Wilson, Merchant, volunteered for the militia in Howard County, IN in response to a request from President Lincoln in 1862. He had a physical disability of some kind - I think probably lungs. He is a good candidate for being my great great grandfather. He was dead after 1865 and before 1870 because my gr gr grandmother had his child John Wilson in 1864, but was married to Jesse Culbertson by 1870. Her name was Mary E Unknown. She was born in Pennsylvania, and her first child, Martha Melissa Wilson was born in Ohio in 1854. Her second child Alice Ellen Wilson was born in Missouri in 1857. Her third child John (above) was born in IN in 1864. She had a son, Jeremiah Culbertson, born about 1870, and a daughter Mary Culbertson, born in the early 1870s. If any of this info sound familiar, I would be so appreciative if you would email me. Gladys Nelson | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
