Birth parents My birthdate 12-27 1951 born at home taken by DR, in car to Catholic hospital in Grinnell Iowa. Born 3 lbs 7 ounces taken from hospital 6 weeks later in late evening down the back stairs, still too small. Adoptive parents put me in sterile room at home wore masks at all times. Bathed in oil for over a year. Adoptive father fears birth mother might have tried to search. They had to promise not to register my firth until I started school at 6 yrs old. Adopted by minister from Oskaloosa Iowa. I am told by father that the older I get the more I ressemble the doctor that delivered me and interveiwed my parents before the adoption. Bith mothers granfather was a judge. Makes looking for anything very difficult. Only sure of my birthdate. Adoptive parents refuced to change it eventhough it was stronly encourage by birth mothers family. | |||||||||||||||||||||
