HOFF-looking for family of Nils Nelson HOFF; immigrated from Norway in May of 1887. Children at age of immigration: Peter 28; Guldbrand, 22; Bertha, 20. Wife, Gunnild Mathea Piltingsrud, did not accompany them. Peter went to Wisconsin; he met his wife, whose name and information I am trying to locate, sometime between 1887 and 1889; had 2 daughters born in North Dakota (if my records are correct): Lillian Esther(b. September 1889),who married a Louis Theodore HAGEN from Iowa, and one other daughter, for certain. Remarried in 1896 to Anna Sofia Sandgren of Gowrie, Webster, Iowa; one child born in Gowrie,Iowa; the other 5 were born in Idaho Falls, Bonneville county, Idaho. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
