Query Text: |
I am searching for my son, who was put up for adoption at birth in August of 1984, who was known as Baby Boy Nance. The Good Shepherd Adoption Agency was used for the adoption. The adoption agency no longer exists that I know of, but they were in Johnson County, KS at the time. The mother and I were going through divorce at the time of birth, and she entered the hosptial under the name of Nance, her previous married name, thus the boy's name he went under for adoption. She also gave her ex-husband, Nance, as the father to try to keep me from finding out what she did. I left several letters in the adoption file over the years until the agency disappeared, and was assured that my son would be given the letters should he ever want to look for me and find the agency and the file. The young man once known as Baby Boy Nance is caucasion, quite possibly have blonde hair and blue eyes, be of average height (5 ft-9 in to 6 ft tall) and likely be of stocky build. He will probably use glasses, contacts, or have had corrective surgery, as both parents wore glasses (I still do). He will quite likely have a good singing voice and a talent for music, as both parents do. The mother was living a very self-destructive lifestyle up until the birth, and I was told by the folks at the adoption agency that the boy was born prematurely, and had birth defects. I want to find my son, or if he is dead, I want to find out that as well. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
