I am looking for any information on a couple who took in my grandfather sometime between the years 1901 and 1910. On the 1910 census for Alfalfa, OK, there is a married couple, Francis J. Dixon and an Etta M. Dixon. My grandfather, Coleman P. Branson was listed as a cousin residing with them. Did this couple adopt him from an orphanage? Coleman's birth father was John D. Branson and his birth mother was Susannah E. Hill (Hull). Please contact me if you have any information regarding his childhood. Thank you so much for any information given.
