Searching for vital records from Virginia pertaining to John W. White, born 1812 in Norfolk, died Houston, Harris County, January 1859. I am looking for information about himself or parents (names unknown). He had a sister, Alice (White)Wickens who in April 1854 lived at #43 Bank St. in Norfolk. She had six children: William, Georgia, Columbia, Eugenia, Columbus and name unknown. Can you give me an idea where to look. I can't find any reference to them in the censuses. Wickens had a daughter, Georgia Wickens who was married to a George A. Martin by 1859 and a neice of the name Eliza Bright who lived in Richmond at same time.
