Edgar Allen Newton or Ed was born 1857 in Michigan. His parents were Samuel M. and Mary C. Newton. The family lived in Naples, Buffalo Co. Wisconsin for more of their married life. While Edgar lived around the country. He married in about 1880 to a Harriet Stanford and they had four children between 1882 and 1891. Edgar lived in Wisconsin and Nebraska from about 1886 to 1891 when we believe he was in 1891 living in Chadron, Nebraksa, Dawes Co. Because their daughter was born after his death in that area of Nebraska. He was working on a train in Nebraska, when he fell off the train and was killed. This accident happened in Gordon, Sheridan Co. Ed or Edgar died quickly. He was in a trains man lodge and was a Senior member I have been trying to find someone who could answer me some questions on the railroad at that time in that area.
