Seeking descs. of Choctaw Jeremiah Carney, signer of Doak's & Dancing Rabbit Cr Treaties, who d. in early l848 in MS. Some of his children emigrated to AR in l848-49. Those who filed inheritance papers in Van Buren, AR in l849 were Harris Carney, Martha Carney Nelson Homer, Daniel Carney, Lila (Lily) Carney, Jonas Carney, #2 wife Ahchehoke & son Forbis Carney. #1 wife Emmahka remained in MS as did a dau. (I believe), Jemimah (Mima) Carney Taylor. A son Cornelius Carney emigrated early to I.T. Jeremiah was the son of Irishman/Choctaw Trader Arthur Carney and Hoke, Choctaw woman.
