Seeking descs. of Choctaw Jeremiah Carney signer of Doak's & Dancing Rabbit Cr Treaties, who d. in MS in early l848. Most of his children emigrated to I.T. in l849. Siblings who emigrated were Harris Carney, Martha Carney Nelson Homer, Lila (Lily) Carney, David Carney, Cornelius Carney, #2 wife Ahchehoke and son, Forbis Carney. #1 wife, Emmahka remained in MS as I believe a dau., Jemima Carney Taylor remained. Jeremiah was the son of Irishman Choctaw Trader, Arthur Carney & Hoke, Choctaw woman. Any suggestions on finding descs. of the Carneys will be appreciated. Is there anyone out there who can help me?
