I'M LOOKNG FOR INFORMATION FROM THE STAUNTON,VA. AREA. MY GREAT GRANDPARENTS WILLIAM BROWN LAMB AND HIS WIFE CATHERINE (YOUNG) SMITH-LAMB LIVED THERE IN THE 1800'S. WILLIAM WAS BORN 25 DEC 1817. THEY WERE MARRIED IN MARCH 1845. CATHERINE'S PARENTS WERE JOHN SMITH AND SOPHIA (YOUNG) SMITH. WILLIAM WAS SECOND BORN OF 13 CHILDREN.I DO NOT KNOW WILLIAM'S PARENTS NAME, BUT WHEN I LOOKED AT THE CENSUS I FOUND LISTED WITHIN WILLIAMS HOME: A WILLIAM LAMB AGE 64,BORN VA ON 1816,WILLIAM LAMB BORN 1815 IN VA. LISTED AS HEAD OF HOUSE ONE JUDITH LAMB BORN 1811 IN VA. CATHERINE SMITH WIFE OF WILLIAM BORN 1815-1819 VA.
