He had married Eliza Ellen GRANT, (1845-1867) daughter of William GRANT and William's wife Elizabeth Davis YARBOROUGH (GOODSON) GRANT. This ____MILLS and wife Eliza Ellen had one child, daughter Otie Lou MILLS (1864-1946). The GRANTs lived and farmed about one-half mile north of present Pickens in Holmes County.
