I'm looking for information on Elisha Caswell, b.1817 probably in Massachusetts (although one census said "Virginia"). His wife was "Anne" b. 1827 in England or Wales. I found the family in the 1850 Goochland Co., VA census, with George G. b.1844 and William, b. 1847. Later Elisha was born. I've traced this family through census to Mercer Co., Pennsylvania, then to Kanapolis, Kansas. Anne was still living with them in Kansas but I don't know what happened to Elisha (the father). I would like more information on Elisha and Anne. There are several references to "Elisha Caswell" in Massachusetts but I don't know how they are connected. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||
