I am searching for information about my ancestors in ND. My father's side of the family immigrated from Iceland in 1893: Gunlauger Johnson and Victoria Leifur were married in Pembina County, also lived in MPS for a few years and then in Fargo where they passed away in 1960 (Victoria) and 1964 (Gunlauger.) My mother's side of the family farmed in Stutsman County. In Stutsman County I'm related to the Posey/Frederickson/Hunter/Walker - (Gr. Grandmother Elizabeth Hunter Atcheson Walker)/Atcheson/Syversons/Lilley or Lily families. So far I have uncovered a limited amount of information about my great great grandmother, Amanda Syverson Hunter Lilly. Also, have found out a little about my step great grandfather - Frank Walker.
