I am searching for relatives of my Grandfather, Juan Rivera Rodriguez. He was born in Manati and baptized at Our Lady of Candelaria and St. Matthew the Apostle of Manati. His birth date was November 24,1886, according to the Baptismal Records in volume 28 on page 224. His mother was Mariana Rodriguez, and her parents were: Juan and Agustina Rivera. My Dad and Grandmother went to Manati in 1965, after my Grandfather's death to try to find some of my grandfather's family, but had no success.I remember my father saying his dad had 8 brothers and sisters. Grandpa was a seaman that brought him to NY, where he became a cigar maker and served in WWI. He NEVER spoke of his family in Puerto Rico. So my facts are from papers I've found after my Dad passed away.I would love to find some family members. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
