Hi, I am searching for Syvert Nikolai Thomason or Thompson. He may have changed his last name to Nelson. Immigrated from Norway in 1887 to Taylor, Jackson Co.,Wisconsin. He was born 1859,Toten, Norway and died is unknown in Wisconsin. He had 2 younger brothers, Gustav and Claus or Carl Martinus Thompson or Nelson living in Trempealeau County at the time they arrived in 1870. His mother was Matia or Martha Nelson or Thompson,widowed. She was born June 1837, Toten,Norway. Any help in tracking down Syvert, his brothers and mother, i would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
