Am seeking parents of my gg grandfather, William Cummings (1812-1900), born in either MD or PA. His father was born in Scotland and his mother in Pennsylvannia. He moved to KS in 1855, married Sarah Ann Quiett in 1856 and founded the town of Cummings, KS in 1872. I think William had a brother, Samuel. Sarah had two brothers, Clark and John and a sister Mary. William and Sarah had six children: Britamore, Martha, Mary, Charles, Isabella and William. Any assistance would be welcome and appreciated. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
