Green and Wood surnames. I want to find out about a Selina Wood who is related to Rufus Wood( born abt.1841 in N.Y.) My grandmother Betty Green(married to Clifford S.Green sr.) wrote about a person named Selina Wood who had a family bible. The greens and woods settled in International falls around 1900. I have found a Selina Wood,who was unmarried, on a census in Rice, Minnesota who appears to be of similar age to Rufus and I wondered if it may be his sister.I am trying to find Rufus Wood's parents, siblings, and ancestry. He had two sons who I believe settled near international Falls, named Levi and Herman.His daughter Ida married Charles Daniel Green and they settled near International falls in 1900.I also found that Rufus' step daughter Alice Stoddard was born in Minnesota and she married Elijah Green, brother to Charles Daniel Green. Any info on these families would be greatly appreciated, but I am especially curious about this Selina Wood spoken of by my grandmother and her relationship to my great great grandfather Rufus Wood and the location of this family bible or the info inside it.Thanks! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
