SEARCHING FOR KERN, HADDEN FAMILILIES: I am searching for my gg-grandmother's family. Her name was HELEN (KERN) HADDEN, born ca 1832 in Detroit?, Canada or NY. She married after 1850 in Kendall County, IL to JAMES WAY HADDEN, son of Morris Hadden of NEW YORK. Helen Kern Hadden's parents were WILLIAM KERN, born ca 1800-1815 in Holland? or NY; he married in NY to ______ TACKABURY (prob. ELIZABETH). They were in Kendall Co., IL by 1840 census.
