Looking for any info. on Thomas Hughes born in Wales 1854. Moved to California c.1875. Have located him on 1880 US census at Bishop, Inyo (single - occupation livery?); 1900 census at Laws(divorced - occ.general merchant); 1910 census at Laws (married to Maud from Texas -occ. merchant).1920 census at Laws ( married to Maud with 1 son also named Thomas Hughes born 1912 - occupation merchant. 1930 census Maud married to Charles Gall in San Francisco -son Thomas Hughes aged 18 also living with them. 1st Thos. Hughes my gt. grandmother's brother.
