I'm looking for any information about & the parents of Sarah/Sally Aldredg/Aldrich & Lydia Aldrich & where these ladies are buried. Sarah/Sally was b. abt 1786 in MA & d. 1818 (age 32) when her son, John Aldrich Pratt was 2yrs old. Sarah was m. to Ebenezer Pratt in Stamford, VT 9/1803. They had 5 children & lived in Clarksburg, MA for some time as John was b. there. In June of 1818 Ebenezer m. Lydia Aldrich in Stamford, VT. All 3 were residents of Clarksburg, MA at the time of their marriages. Lydia (Aldrich) Pratt & Ebenezer had at least 2 chn, Henry & Amos; prob. others. Henry m. Lucy Millard & resided in North Adams, MA. They are buried there. A young dau. is buried in Stamford, VT. Amos m. Hannah Bennett & lived in MA. An Ebenezer Pratt & a Daniel Aldrich were involved with the Farmer's Glassworks in Clarksburg about 1811 or so. Ebenezer, apparently one of the early settlers of Clarksburg, his name appeared in some early town meeting minutes from what I've been told. Ebenezer, b. 1777/78, was the son of Joseph Pratt Jr & Esther Blood. In 1850 Ebenezer was living w/son John & his family in Stamford, VT. In 1860 this family was residing in Wauconda,(Lake Co.) IL. Ebenezer is buried there but no wife is buried with him. Thank you. Priscilla | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
