Looking for information on William M. Ashley, supposedly murdered along with Hiram Roten by Albert E. Haunsteine in 1889. Occurred in Custer County, Nebraska. Ashley buried in Plesant Valley Cemetery, Custer County. Ashley and Roten are both prominent names in my family from North Carolina and I am trying to make a connection. Need family info such as wife and children, birth date, etc.
