I am looking for any information as to the ancestry and/or European cousins of my paternal grandfather, John Demsko (surname also spelled with a "cz" or "ch" in place of the "s', depending upon source). I have the following info (some new!): BORN 16 Oct 1882/83 to Jova(?) Demczko; EMIGRATED from Versecz, Vojvodina, Serbia to US on 6 Oct 1909 aboard ship "Breslau" (port of entry Baltimore), initial destination stated as Shamokin, PA (brother Michael on N Sharon St); MOVED to St Louis, MO, where he filed his Declaration of Intention on 29 May, 1911; MARRIED Anna Schunk 20 Jul 1913 at St Michael Russian Orthodox church in St Louis; FATHERED 6 children (one of them my father); DIED 6 May 1955 in St Louis. ...any info on filling in pieces would be appreciated - thanks!
