I am searching for info about John P Vaughn b. Va 1805. He married Elizabeth Scoggins in Greene Co. Ill. about 1831. They also lived in Pike Co Ill. per the 1850 census. One of their sons-also John P Vaughn married Sarah Kinkel. The info I would like is about the parents of the elder John P. and exactly where in Va he was born. Other cousins and I are at a road block. Thanks.
