I'm looking for info. on my great grandmother Lillie Thompson who married John Houston Toliver/Tolliver. John changed their spelling from Toliver to Tolliver at some point but I don't know when.But it was due to fact that there was another man by the same name and people were getting them cunfused.I believe Lillie's parents to be John Thompson and Ann Bryan (that is what her death cert. had)Lillie was born about 1870 and died in an auto accident in 1959. She lived in Statesville NC at the time. They had one son Glenn thompson Tolliver b. 3-10-1907 d. 12-5-1971. burial: Caser, Cleveland NC (prostate cancer). I can not seen to find anything on her parents. They came from the NC, VA area.I do know they John, Lillie and Glen)lived in Ennice, Alleghany Co, NC at one point in time on property now owned by the Higgens family who is also kin the the Tolliver family.
