I'm looking for information regarding Charlie Lawson and his wife Fannie Manring (Stokes Co., NC) and the murders of Christmas 1929. Anything outside what has already been published in "White Christmas, Bloody Christmas" would be appreciated. What became of surviving son Arthur and Arthur's wife/children, etc.? Charlie's sister Etta married my mother's uncle Jim Bullins. Can refer you to my mom who has extensive family history re: Mabes/Bullins/Lawson
