The BLYTHE family was in Washington-on-the-Brazos from about 1845 to the late 1800's. The Texas Almanac states that churches in Washington-on-the-Brazos closed down and moved to Navasota when Washington-on-the-Brazos began to decline. I think that a Methodist Episcopal church, and others, moved. Does anyone know if these churches have records that mention the Blythe Family? The head of the family, Francis Marion Blythe of TN remarried Virginia Elizabeth Walthall after the death of his first wife. Who should I call in Navasota?
