I am searching for my ggrandmother ( Sarah Elizabeth Briant Or Bryant ) She was married to james Andrew Bryant. He was killed in the civil War in 1862,and buried in Hollywood Cemetery, Richmond, Va. She was listed in the 1880 census as living in Cleveland County,NC. Her maiden name was Sarah Elizabeth Weathers,and listed as being from Va. She had 3 children Emily Etta b.1859,Rufus Thomas b. 1860 and George W b.1868. The story goes that she and her younger son went to Washington state. Another story is that she went back to Virginia.
