I have traced my grandfather's (Norris) paternal line up to the 1300s. I'm having trouble finding the maternal links within this line. I have names and some dates and places for the wives of my paternal ancestors. I would like to find some new lines so that my tree doesn't topple over to the left. If anyone has any info. please let me know. Here they are... Leona Laird b.1881 in Mississippi, Jane Brewer b. 13 Aug 1834 in NC, and Ellender Edmondson b.1781 in NC. I have reason to believe that Jane and Ellender may have lived and/or died in Mississippi. Their husbands were (in the same order) William Wiley Norris b. 26 Mar 1875 in Smith,MS d. 21 Jun 1963 in West Monroe LA, William Norris b.10 Jan 1810 in Sumpter SC d. 17 May 1878 in Smith MS, and Luke Norris b. 1767 in St.Marys MD d.1838 in Covington, MS.
