John Edwin Eastwood, son of Edwin and Mary Ann (Biggins) Eastwood was born January 28, 1882 in Sheffield, England and died 15 April 1946 in Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut. He married Mary Elizabeth (McGar) Lyons in about 1910, who was the widow of Edward P. Lyons. She was born 2 February 1881 in Bristol, Hartford County, Connecticut and died 26 November 1964 in Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut. She married Edward P. Lyons before 1900 in Connecticut. She was the daughter of Herbert and Sophia Susan (Lane) McGar. Herbert McGar was born 1850 in England and died between 1910-1920 in Connecticut. He married Sophia Susan Lane in 1876 in Connecticut. Sophia Susan Lane was born 1854 in Connecticut, a daughter of John Dean and Nancy Ann Wilson Lane and died 9 October 1937 in probably Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut. Herbert McGar was a son of Frank and Ann (?) McGar. John Edwin Eastwood was the grandson of Edwin and Mary (?) Eastwood and George and Sarah (?) Biggins. Child of Edward P. The sister, Mary, appears to be only 3, this would be George and John's sister. Alot of age difference. John Edwin Eastwood would have been 9 years old, when he came to this country.
