BLACK - OLLER - STITH of Illinois, USA. I am searching for information about my paternal grandfather, Ralph Black, born circa 1901 in Illinois. Various military records indicate his hometowns as Oakford, Irving and Springfield IL. Social Security record lists his parents as Hulda Oller and Frank H. Black. I have found Hulda Oller in Christian County, IL, censuses; also marriage record. She married Greenberry Stith of Oakford, IL. in 1900 and is listed with his family in the 1900 census. Can find no definitive connection of Hulda Oller with Frank Black. My grandfather was apparently raised by relatives on farms in IL.
