McCan in Searcy County, Arkansas. I am looking for information about Jasper N. McCann, born circa 1852. He lived in Calf Creek Township, Searcy County, Arkansas, in June of 1888. He married "V. L. 'Lou' Ferguson" there, and she was also a resident of Calf Creek Township. In 1990, Jasper N. McCan paid taxes in the Richland Township of Searcy County. Two McCan daughters were born there: Sarah McCan, b. January of 1889, married a "Phillips" before 1910, probably in Cleburne County. Allie McCan, born in 1893. This family moved to Cleburne County, Arkansas in the late 1890s. I am looking for any information on this McCan line or any McCans living in Searcy County in the 1800s.
