Ole Olsen Kvalshaug was born January 30 1842 here at Lyngstad in Eide. He married Marit Johnsdtr. Jørgenvaag (Jorgenvaag) born January 13. 1850, on June 28. 1869. They went to Beresford in 1880 with 5 children, and it is told that they had 14 children. Can you help me get in contact with descendants to the Kvalshaug people? They probably still live in Sioux Falls, SD. Ole, Marit and Michael also had another sister who went to USA in 1886 tohether with 4 children. Her name was Kari Johnsdtr. She was married to Anders Toresen from Nasvika, Averøy. They lived at Beresford, SD and it is told that they had 11 children who grew up. I know the names of 4 children all born here in Norway: Ida Karoline born 1879. Teoline Josefine born 1881. Konrad Alfred born 1885. Tore born 1885. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
